Karangasem East Coast Bali (8 hours)

Join us to visit Kerta Gosa, Klungkung's 18 th century Court of Justice, the traditional fishing village of Kusamba, Goa Lawah (the Bat Cave Temple), the inland to see the ancient and most unique traditional communities.


For a complete change scenery we go on to Candi Dasa seaside resort and to Amlapura, the capital of Karangasem in eastern Bali. There we'll call on the palace of the last living monarch, and on to Tirta Gangga, the royal bathing pools with their spring-fed fountains carved in grand Balinese style. Our return route takes us to Putung, a hill-top village overlooking Padang Bay Harbour and neighbouring islands.

Mengwi - Bedugul - Alas Kedaton - Tanah Lot (8 hours)

We cross over a moat to reach one of Bali's loveliest shrines at the Mengwi Royal Family's Taman Ayun (Water Garden) Temple. Then we will continue into the cool hills to wander through the tropical flower market at Candi Kuning, and to Ulun Danu Temple on the shore of Lake Beratan at Bedugul. After a fine meal, try the water sports. Boating, parasailing and water skiing are available for a nominal fee at this beautiful mountain resort (optional). On our way home we will stop by Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest, and drive on in time to view the sunset at Tanah Lot Temple, on its rocky promontory by the sea.
