Pasar Agung Temple Tour (8 hours)

Depart from your hotel in the morning, when we arrive at small town of Klungkung we will first visit Kerta Gosa, the 18th century Court of Justice known for its beautiful ceiling murals. Then proceed up to Pasar Agung Temple via the small villages of Iseh and Sidemen with its wonderful view of the rice terraces.

At the middle part of Bali's most revered mountain, Gunung Agung (height 3,142 meters), we will reach Pasar Agung Temple (1600 meter above sea level). There are about 375 steps from the parking lot to climb up to the main part of the temple. A magnificent panorama can be observed overlooking the paradise valley of east Bali. This is the island's oldest, second largest and most sacred Hindu temple complex (89 A.D).

After visiting the temple, then we drive to Puri Karang, a traditional Balinese house compound with beautiful decorative clan temple and lush tropical garden. Lunch will be served at Wantilan restaurant in the complex. After lunch, on the way back to the hotel we will stop at Sumampan to see wood carver at work and than to Celuk (gold and silver wares). Back to the hotel in late afternoon.
